Monument 1 Version 1: group with Gropius

This forms and its various views place it in the tradition of Gropius, one of the architects we observed: it is a defined space separated, presently, from its landscape. It does, however, make the observer participate in the landscape by inviting her to look out the openings and walk up and down the stairs. A framed view is offered when this object is placed on a landscape. It is equally a space to experience the loss and the memory of deceased soldiers.
